I’m a great fan of Jack Alpert’s, having published his videos here before……

However, I’m less than optimistic about this scheme of his, because it’s been shown people are not swayed by facts.… After all, I’ve been trying unsuccessfully for years..!

Hi Mike. Did you see the Do The Math blog post where he asked his readers where they were on the Briggs Meyer scale? The majority turned out to be INTJs who are around 6% of the general population. He then realised that he wasn’t educating the public, just preaching to the choir and more or less stopped blogging!

I like him too, but he lost me when he said we can change our genetic behaviours just by deciding we can. Natural selection ultimately works at the level of the gene. Culture and cultural change is just the veneer on top.

I’ve known Jack for around 15 years. We are friends. I’ve told him all along that his strategy is useless addressing Africa, India, most of Asia, South & Central America, and religious fundamentalists everywhere. He has no rebuttal to that.
