What they didn’t show is that every time the people gather in protest, they are met with police in full riot gear with shields and batons, tear gas, water cannons, flash grenades, and worse.

And if the anger/desparation level rises and we start seeing rocks and Molotov cocktails being thrown through bank windows, governments will escalate too, and keep escalating right up to aerial bombing, Grad rockets, tanks and heavy artillery like we are seeing now in Eastern Ukraine.

The governments know how much it costs to equip and train the riot police and armies, and have agreed to it. Do you seriously think they have done this with the intension of listening to the peoples’ grievances?

But we can bring the Matrix down without even going on the streets……. all we have to do is ALL stop servicing our debts on a particular day. I like April 1.

The 1% control all the food, all the banks, all the oil wells, refineries, petrol stations, coal mines, power stations. And if you have a mortgage on your house, then they can take that off you too, and your superannuation.

Most people already know that the inequality is unfair, but they judge that the status quo is better than being homeless, hungry and penniless. They even think that when they are Bangladesh levels of poverty.

Nobody ever rioted for Austerity, but the system is about to collapse anyway without any interference from us. After a crash to low levels of consumption, then there will be an opportunity to make change – but the change has to be to make things better, not worse.

They can’t repossess everybody all at once…… Superannuation? WHAT superannuation…? All about to go down the black hole of deflation anyway.

You are not a loan.

Strike Debt is a nationwide movement of debt resisters fighting for economic justice and democratic freedom.

Debt is a tie that binds the 99%. With stagnant wages, systemic unemployment, and public service cuts, we are forced to go into debt for the basic things in life — and thus surrender our futures to the banks. Debt is major source of profit and power for Wall Street that works to keep us isolated, ashamed, and afraid. Using direct action, research, education, and the arts, we are coming together to challenge this illegitimate system while imagining and creating alternatives. We want an economy in which our debts are to our friends, families, and communities — and not to the 1%.

> They can’t repossess everybody all at once

True, but do you want to be the first to try it? The banks can shut their doors and switch off the ATMs and EFTPOS network any time they feel threatened. Civilisation will grind to a halt soon after. The flow of money through the economy is essential for supermarkets, power companies, everything.

That’ll happen regardless.

You don’t have to stop paying the debts you have to crash the system, just not adding new debt will do the trick. Stop buying the useless crap that you do not need. the useless stuff clutters you life, hiding what is truly important.

Realize that the debt to buy a Mc mansion will do more damage to your happiness than the Mc mansion will add to it. The crap pre-prepared food is killing you, cook you own food preferably grown by you.

Start to withdraw from the matrix. It is doomed and the more unplugged you are the better it will go for you. As you unplug you will become happier, as the lies fall away your heart will open.

It is not all or nothing, each little step makes a difference. Take that first step, see that your world does not end but gets better. Then take another.

I like to, to borrow Paul Keating’s phrase “do the system slowly”.

To do this one only needs to withdraw slowly. Don’t go into any more debt and repay any existing debt. Grow your own food (this will be done slowly as it takes time to reach this state). Repair things around the house and if you can’t, then find someone locally who can. Adopt a lifestyle that doesn’t depend on STUFF and stuff that can’t be repaired (TV, and dare I say it computers and the internet). Don’t buy a new car, hopefully the one you have comes from a company that continues to manufacture spare parts. Get a good bicycle and use it. Make sure your tools (gardening and workshop) work on the simplest technology and will last for as long as possible and are repairable.

All this takes time but flies under the radar of the system (Matrix) and hopefully when it realises what has happened it will be too late.

Yuval Harari (Sapiens) says that belief in the future being better is a requirement for capitalism. If so, collapse is imminent; so many see the numbers and the impossibility of the future being better. The numbers in almost any area of study look bad going forward.

Catastrophic, cascading, failure is inevitable. The system is incredibly complex, completely interdependent and under huge stress.

Learn how to barter, cash will disappear. Before cash disappears your bank will. When trade stops, as it will, Australia is in deep trouble. We are not at all self sufficient, be self sufficient.

The matrix is going down, be ready. .
