Thanks Mike. This is very effective but will it get to the people who are obsessed with having the latest gadgets.I will circulate it but most of my contacts are better than I am at recycling etc. Every now and then there are bright spots eg a lady at Curtin Uni is researching the utilization of ALL of the blue swimmer crabs being caught.Scarcity of water is making SOME of us wake up to our wastefulness. Have a satisfying Xmas, may all /most of your food be local produce. Ruth Lipscombe Innisfail Good luck with the sale of your house.

That face at the end of the cartoon brings to mind one particular visionary, years ahead of his time: Ted Kaczynski. Much maligned, understandably so; but having read the background, what motivated him — his love of nature and hatred of what we were doing to it — is equally understandable.

Thanks Mike for all the time and effort you put into this blog/site.
Have a most enjoyable Chistmas with your family.
And may the greater part of your 2015 be spent in Tasmania.
