Well…… you all know what I think.

A paper on this topic was published last month by Paul R. Ehrlich and Anne H. Ehrlich in the Proceedings Of The Royal Society. The link below will give you a chance of reading it.
Abstract:
Environmental problems have contributed to numerous collapses of civilizations in the past. Now, for the first time, a global collapse appears likely. Overpopulation, overconsumption by the rich and poor choices of technologies are major drivers; dramatic cultural change provides the main hope of averting calamity.

The paper read like an Op-ed piece and lost credibility for me when it advised governments stockpiling Tamiflu, the effectiveness of which has been called into question.
I have to agree somewhat…… I wasn’t sure if it was because I already knew pretty well everything in the paper, but I found it a bit boring, and as far as the tamiflu goes, stockpiling ANYTHING is hardly a solution, you WILL eventually run out……
